DO I REALLY NEED A PET RELOCATION COMPANY?

You can do it yourself. The risk is finding out too late what you missed.

A missing or mismatched detail can mean check-in stops, clearance is delayed, or your pet cannot be released until the issue is corrected.

01 / PAPERWORK

One detail can stop the process.

Microchip records, vaccinations, permits and travel documents need to match the requirements for the exact move.

02 / AIRLINE + TIMING

Country approval doesn't automatically mean airline approval.

Carrier requirements, routing and document validity can differ — and some steps have to happen in the correct sequence.

03 / ARRIVAL + CLEARANCE

Getting on the flight is only half the job.

Import checks, clearance and destination requirements still need to line up before the pet can be released.

That’s what you’re paying us for. Not forms. Fewer unknowns, less chasing, and one experienced team accountable for the move.

EXPERIENCE YOU CAN ACTUALLY USE

Know what matters for your move.

Requirements interpreted for your move.

We review your pet, route and timing together, so the preparation follows the journey you are actually making.

One team coordinating the moving parts.

Pet Express brings paperwork, travel, clearance and handover into one plan, reducing the separate arrangements you need to chase.

Practical airline and airport familiarity.

Knowing which procedure applies and where to seek clarification helps the team coordinate the travel stage within the rules.

International transport standards.

Standards provide a framework for preparing live animals for air travel. IATA’s Live Animals Regulations address animal handling and transport requirements; the exact carrier and route still need review.

WHAT AFFECTS THE QUOTE?

Don’t compare the total until you compare what’s included.

Your pet’s size and crate, the route and airline, travel arrangements, documents and destination handling shape the cost. A useful comparison starts with what each quote actually covers.

Questions to ask when comparing pet movers in Dubai
Quote areaCheck before comparing totals
Transport & flightsWhich flight, routing, airport and ground-transport charges are included?
Crate & preparationIs the travel crate supplied? Which preparation costs are included or paid separately?
Documents & veterinary workWhich permit, documentation and veterinary charges are included? Who pays each provider?
Arrival & destinationDoes the quote cover clearance, destination handling and collection or delivery?
Changes & additional chargesHow are changes, additional handling, taxes and third-party charges identified and approved?
End-to-end service does not mean every charge is included in every quotation.

Pet Express manages the entire relocation. Check the written quotation for the inclusions, exclusions and charges specific to your move.

CHECK MY PET’S ROUTE
YOUR QUESTIONS

Before you decide.

01How much does pet relocation from Dubai cost?

There is no single price for every move. Your pet, crate, route, flight arrangements and destination costs shape the quotation. Compare the included services and third-party charges before comparing totals.

02When should I start, and can you help with a close travel date?

Start once you know your likely destination and approximate date. We assess what is realistically possible; preparation depends on the route, pet and documents already available.

03Do you handle both imports and exports?

Yes. Pet Express manages the entire relocation into or out of the UAE, from requirements and paperwork through travel, clearance and arrival.

04Will my pet travel in the cabin or as cargo?

That depends on the carrier, route, pet type, breed and size. We review the available travel arrangements for your move before a method is confirmed.

05What happens to my pet at the airport?

Pet Express coordinates the airport stages of the agreed relocation. The exact handling steps, handover arrangements and updates depend on the airport, carrier and route.

06Should my pet be sedated for the flight?

Sedation is generally discouraged for air travel. IATA warns of potential adverse effects during transport. Discuss your pet’s individual needs with your vet and check the airline’s requirements before making medication decisions.

07Can I relocate several pets together?

You can enquire about several pets in one Route Check. Add each pet’s type and breed; enter ‘Not sure’ where needed. Each pet’s travel arrangements will be reviewed, so travelling together is not assumed.

08What happens after I send the Route Check?

Pet Express reviews the move, clarifies any missing details, then prepares the relocation plan and quotation. Submitting the form does not approve travel or confirm a booking.

THE ROUTE CHECK

Start with the route.

Tell us the basics for a human route review. This is an enquiry, not an automatic travel approval.

03 / REQUEST RECORDED
STEP 01 OF 02

Where are you going?

Travelling with more than one pet? Add each below. No records or measurements needed yet.

What happens after I enquire?

  1. 1 — Send your route

  2. 2 — Pet Express reviews the move
